I have to admit when I saw this game in just the picture advertisement across the internet I was a little wondering why they were making a big deal out of this. It seemed to be another drawn to life game(Boy was I wrong). Back to my story…so as I was searching through youtube.com for videos and such I came across the Scribblenauts trailer and now I believe this will be a very very good game. Not necessarily for it’s new type of puzzle gameplay but for plain uniqueness. Check out the official trailer.
At first I was sure there were limitations, but when I read you can summon anything(and I mean anything) people like God and Death. I have to admit it peaked my interest and then I found out about vs mode for just a moment in time a twinkle was in my eye.
Scribblenauts is due to hit store selves September 15, 2009
New Facebook application in the Nintendo Dsi allows you to take pictures with the camera and post them to Facebook, a social networking site. Sounds pretty cool but it require you to update because its more of a function in than a application and for those not using a flashcart it is no real problem. For those who are well you might want to hold off on it beacause it blocks all known flashcarts.
“Facebook is immensely popular (hell, both my parents are on it) and it’s a simple way of getting your photos from DSi to the world wide web. Overall, this is a simple update but at the very least it adds a welcome functionality to the Nintendo DSi’s camera capabilities. I’d love a bit of further enhancements, like the ability to add notes to the photo on the Nintendo DSi itself using the virtual keyboard, and having those comments be transferred to Facebook as well.” says chis harris from ign.com
Perhaps the Facebook/DSi pairing could advance further with a full-on Facebook application.
I’m not sure what to make of this but recently game companies like Square-enix, Capcom, and now even Sega are making teaser countdown sites for game premire releases for Nintendo DS. The Sega team seems to be taking note and created there own countdown site. Looks as if it is a new RPG is in the making. The quoted release is August 20,2009. Click Below to see the site.
The question most people aren’t answering is just how much DSiWare can you put on the Nintendo DSi.
Nintendo has an early list of DSiWare file sizes.
The sizes are measured in Blocks. Now the Nintendo DSi has a internal memory of 256 MB which is 1024 blocks. No this does not mean you get 1024 DSiWare.
Opera browser one of the larger DSiWare is 96 blocks which means that the internal memory can hold around 10.5 Opera browser. The file size will vary so there will not be a definate file as far as I can see. The Price range on launch will be 200 -800 but the like the opera brower it can be free and some will go higher the 800.
